Certainly! The Western Technology Center offers a Dental Assistant and Dental Hygiene program. These programs provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in the dental field. The Dental Assistant program prepares students to assist dentists with a variety of tasks, such as preparing patients for treatment, taking X-rays, and performing basic laboratory procedures. The Dental Hygiene program teaches students how to perform dental cleanings, take and analyze X-rays, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Both programs include hands-on clinical experience in a dental office setting. Graduates of these programs are eligible to take the certification exams to become licensed dental assistants or dental hygienists.
