Montachusett Regional Technical School offers programs in Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting, which provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue careers in the dental industry.

The Dental Hygiene program at Montachusett Regional Technical School is a comprehensive two-year program that prepares students to become licensed dental hygienists. The program includes courses in dental anatomy and physiology, oral pathology, radiology, periodontology, pharmacology, and dental materials. Students also gain hands-on experience in clinical settings, where they learn how to perform preventive and therapeutic services such as prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Graduates of the Dental Hygiene program at Montachusett Regional Technical School are eligible to take the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination and the Northeast Regional Board Clinical Examination for licensure.

The Dental Assisting program at Montachusett Regional Technical School is a one-year program that prepares students to become dental assistants. The program includes courses in dental anatomy and physiology, infection control, dental materials, radiology, and chairside assisting. Students also gain hands-on experience in clinical settings, where they learn how to assist dentists during procedures, take impressions, and perform laboratory procedures. Graduates of the Dental Assisting program at Montachusett Regional Technical School are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board Examination for certification.
