Cross Keys High
Cross Keys High School offers a comprehensive Dental Assisting Program that prepares students for a career in the dental field. This program is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become effective dental assistants.
The program curriculum includes coursework in dental anatomy, dental materials, dental radiography, dental office management, infection control, and patient care. Students also gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations, where they work in real dental offices and assist with patient care.
The Dental Assisting Program at Cross Keys High School is taught by experienced and licensed dental professionals who are dedicated to providing students with the best possible education. The program prepares students for the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) examination, which is administered by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB).
In addition to classroom instruction and clinical rotations, students in the program also have the opportunity to participate in dental-related extracurricular activities, such as volunteering at dental clinics or attending dental conferences.
Upon completion of the Dental Assisting Program, students are well-prepared to enter the workforce as dental assistants, dental hygienists, or pursue further education in the dental field. The program provides a strong foundation for students to build upon and succeed in their future careers.
