Southeast ROP
Southeast ROP (Regional Occupational Program) offers a comprehensive dental hygiene and dental assisting program to students who want to pursue a career in the dental field. These programs are designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to succeed in the dental industry.
The dental hygiene program at Southeast ROP is a two-year program that prepares students for licensure as registered dental hygienists. Students will learn about the anatomy of the oral cavity, oral hygiene techniques, and dental procedures. They will also gain hands-on experience in clinical settings, providing dental hygiene services to patients.
The dental assisting program at Southeast ROP is a one-year program that prepares students to work as dental assistants in dental offices and clinics. Students will learn about dental terminology, infection control, and dental procedures. They will also gain practical experience through clinical rotations, working alongside dentists and dental hygienists.
Both programs at Southeast ROP offer a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training to ensure that students are well-prepared for the workforce. Graduates of these programs are well-equipped to pursue a variety of dental careers, including dental hygienist, dental assistant, and dental office manager.
In addition to the dental hygiene and dental assisting programs, Southeast ROP also offers a range of other career training programs, including healthcare, business, and technology programs. These programs are designed to meet the needs of students who are looking to start a new career or advance in their current career.
